| I am now just in my fifties,
married with two sons, a Labrador with attitude, plus a cat. My Hypnotherapy practice is
in Storrington, West Sussex; on the edge of the South Downs.
Having been involved with various martial arts, I have always marvelled at the
power of the brain and how it can be harnessed to produce spectacular results.
When I decided to switch to a career where my personal qualities would be more
suited, I came upon Cognitive Hypnotherapy and
the more that I found out about it, the more I became 'entranced' by what it has
to offer.
I was careful in my selection of training institute. Some offer
qualifications based on minimal learning and practice. The Quest
Institute convinced me that its training was second to none.
This is in large part due to my mentor,
Trevor Silvester, who was inspirational throughout my
training and now in the support given thereafter.
I have a Diploma in Cognitive Hypnotherapy (Dip.C.Hyp) from the
Quest
Institute. I am a member of the National
Council for Hypnotherapy MNCH (Acc) and have a Hypnotherapy
Practitioner Diploma (HPD) issued by it. In addition, I am a qualified
Neuro-Linguistic Programming Master Practitioner (NLP MasterPrac).
Furthermore, I am a registered with the Natural & Complementary Healthcare Council; the new regulating body for the Hypnotherapy profession.
NLP & Hypnotherapy provide useful tools to help enhance
Sports performance. These have been complemented by my training as a
Mind Factor Coach, by Dr Karl Morris; one of the leading Sports
Psychologists in the world. His unique approach has been used to help many top
sports professionals to perform at their very best.
In my spare time, I am a keen tennis player, have recently been elected to be Chairman of the newly reformed Storrington & District 41 Club and am a Trustee Director of Chanctonbury Sports & Leisure Centre. >
